York Youth Connection
The York Youth Connection (YYC) summer day camp has been providing a safe, fun and educational experience for children and youth on York University’s beautiful Keele campus for close to 40 years. To celebrate its time as part of a growing and vibrant community, YYC is excited to introduce new and engaging program activities and learning opportunities this summer and beyond! We invite you to join us in this interdisciplinary evolution.
The camp emphasizes community and collaboration, and strives to be a welcoming and inclusive space that encourages a lifelong interest in learning.
With a focus on programming that connects to lived experiences and exposes campers to possibilities for their futures, YYC offers a mix of art and design, performing arts and improv, health and fitness, eco-science, and a leadership curriculum for each age group. Children spend the summer exploring, learning and making friends in a post-secondary environment and its many possibilities.
YYC campers range in age from 8 to 14 (born in or before 2005) and come from diverse backgrounds.
