Rutgers Summer Scholars Program

Students who will enter their junior or senior year in Fall 2012 and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 may apply to take up to two introductory-level college courses this summer in a wide variety of fields. Exceptional students under the age of 16 will be considered on a case by case basis.*

Requirements
  • Online application and all requirements must be completed by deadline
  • High school transcript (a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required)
  • A placement exam/AP scores (only applies to certain courses information)
  • If you are under the age of 16, PSAT/SAT scores and interview are required - we will contact you by email to schedule an interview
  • A letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor (required only for scholarship consideration)
Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Approved applicants will be registered (upon availability) for their desired course(s) and receive an email confirmation with directions on how to pay their bill.


*If you are a student who will be graduating in June of the current school year, do not fill out this form. 

Scholarships Available: With a recommendation from your guidance counselor, you may qualify for a High School Summer Scholars Scholarship to cover 20% of your tuition cost for up to 6 college credits!
